Digital strategy is the core premise of digital transformation and the top-level design of all transformation activities for enterprises. It provides directionality and overall strategy for enterprises to seize the opportunity of digital development and accelerate transformation and change. Promoting digital transformation under the guidance of enterprise-level digital strategy can greatly improve the efficiency of transformation and enable enterprises to effectively obtain digital efficiency. Survey data shows that the proportion of enterprises with performance growth and profitability that have digital strategies throughout their entire life cycle is
significantly higher than other types of enterprises. Therefore, the existence of a digital strategy throughout the entire life cycle will largely determine the success or failure of digital transformation for enterprises. Digital technology is an opportunity for the development of small and medium-sized enterprises. Through digital technology transformation, small and medium-sized enterprises can stand out from large companies and maintain or improve their competitiveness in this way to surpass competitors, thereby occupying a dominant position in the global market in their niche markets.

How to achieve human-centred intelligent organisational collaboration in digital transformation enterprises and promote the digital
transformation of enterprises from local optimisation to global optimisation has become a threshold that Chinese enterprises, especially small and medium-sized enterprises, urgently need to cross. Domestic enterprises actively embrace the mobile internet and promote the online development of organisational work management models. Currently, 92.2% of enterprises use mobile organisational collaboration tools, such as DingTalk, WeChat Work, and Feishu in the process of organisational management and communication collaboration, and use digital tools to enhance internal communication collaboration and organisational change.
From the perspective of enterprise organisational structure, the transformation of business models requires a matching, dynamic, flexible, and scalable organisational model to support it. Internal collaboration within the enterprise promotes the transformation of communication mechanisms, and strategic internal communication plans are tools for leaders to help promote employee behaviour and actions to create desired business results. It should directly support the key business results of the organisation. Internal communication plans should be updated annually to support business strategies, rather than being considered temporarily or
afterwards. When a plan is truly strategic, it will also be given the same priority and resources as external plans, and then work together effectively to send out a voice for the organisation. A strong internal communication plan is not just a series of strategies. Instead, these strategies should be part of the overall plan.

Based on previous research, this article expounds the digital transformation-driven internal collaboration and communication
mechanism of small and medium-sized enterprises based on the theory of management collaboration, and explores the digital transformation-driven internal collaboration and communication mechanism of small and medium-sized enterprises based on the theory of management collaboration. Firstly, it analyses the literature review of management collaboration theory, digital transformation theory, and internal collaboration mechanism of small and medium-sized enterprises at home and abroad. Secondly, it constructs an analysis model of the internal collaboration and communication mechanism of small and medium-sized enterprises, and uses this model to design, distribute, and collect questionnaires, as well as conduct interviews. Based on the results of questionnaires and interviews, it identifies the problems existing in the collaboration and communication mechanism of small and medium-sized
enterprises. Thirdly, it identifies the causes of the problems. Then, it proposes improvement plans for the digital transformation-driven internal collaboration and communication mechanism of small and medium-sized enterprises. Furthermore, it proposes safeguards and expected results. Finally, it draws conclusions and proposes prospects.

This article constructs a research model for the internal collaboration mechanism of small and medium-sized enterprises, which is divided into macro, meso, and micro levels. The research focus of this article mainly includes three aspects: first, combing the concept of collaborative governance in Chinese and foreign literature to lay a theoretical foundation for this study; second, strengthening the research on collaborative governance at the enterprise practice level, and proposing corresponding improvement plans for the problems identified; third, breaking through the research model for enterprises and constructing a collaborative interoperability mechanism analysis model for collaborative governance practices. Based on this, it is hoped that this study will provide suggestions
for small and medium-sized enterprises and provide reference for peers.
